The perfect gift

All your shopping stress is over this solstice season. Every kid, teen or adult on your list would love to get a telescope! True they might not get as much use out of it if they don't live far from city lights and pollution like me but it will be a special treat for them whenever they go camping.

The Jr. Astronomy kit should include: a decent telescope and/or great binoculars; a planesphere, and a red flashlight. Get them all set up to stargaze and you will find it is the gift that keeps on giving.

If you find the rare kid that isn't turned on by astronomy, perhaps you can just put a Spongebob or other trendy sticker on the side of the telescope and claim it is officially licensed by his/her hero and you might get a new convert.
